The whole car needs repainted. That's the next "big" thing on the to-do list.
**edit**
The NEXT thing on the to-do list is install my drop spindles and lowering springs. Then an alignment. Then I can worry about the paint.Last edited by MeenZ28; March 17th, 2014, 01:06 PM.sigpic

Drop sindles and lowering springs are going to be a terrible idea. well unless you plan on not driving it. then it will look good but prob be pretty impossible to drive with as low as it may be

Yes, stock springs w/ the drop spindles in the front and lowering springs for the rear.... perhaps I should have been more clear....sigpic

I'd bump that up on the priority listOriginally posted by MeenZ28 View PostIn due time. That is on my wish list, believe me.
Putting the 98+ brakes on my IROC is hands down the best upgrade I have done to the car.
The only thing that had a bigger befosre and after change was sub frame connectors, but that's because mine's a 'vert.

At least do the LS1 front swap, I have not driven my car with them yet, but it is really easy to do and really not that expensive if you piece it together right.Last edited by Darren; March 18th, 2014, 02:28 PM.sigpic

I will. Just gotta find a decent donor at the pick-a-part and I'll start. I'm only working on lowering it next because I have the parts to do it sitting on the shelf... just haven't done it yet. My father-in-law keeps asking me "when are you moving these spindles off the work bench?".... *sighs*sigpic

Shipping to Cali cant be that bad. I know a guy who has a set of LS1 front calipers and brackets, all torn apart ready to be powder coated any color you wish that could rebuild them (if wanted) and send them your wayOriginally posted by MeenZ28 View PostI will. That same guy can show ya where to get the brackets for the swap and tell ya how to get your rotors machined down to make the hubs needed for the LS1 rotor. Then you just need rotors, pads, and a new brake line.... mhm...

Sounds tempting however I gotta let my wife cool down from the wheels and tires first. It's the most I've spent on this car at one time since I've bought it. The brakes will get done... just not anytime soon. I appreciate the help though.sigpic
