Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Took a few pictures of my dad's 1977 Malibu Classic today. This is the one that started it all, the car that ignited my passion for automobiles. My dad is the original owner, he just got it completely repainted this spring. We'll be just south of 11 Mile on SB Woodward at the Dream Cruise tomorrow, keep an eye out for it! In the meantime, here are the pics:

I actually took the pictures this afternoon, my family's in town for the weekend. The car will be out on Woodward tomorrow. The building is an old power plant by Grand River and Orchard Lake in Farmington Hills.

Very nice! I feel like I haven't seen that front fascia before. An awful lot of those malibus and monte carlos have been smashed up in figure 8 derbies, wont be many left before long. Nice to see a survivor!

I was just kidding with you, of course. But that building was supposedly built originally as a winery, but since all Michigan could grow at the time was Concord grapes, I'm sure the wine was probably not much better than Mogen David! In other words, cough syrup!
Agree with Joel -- these cars have virtually disappeared already.
Any interior pics?

this is true, I can count on one hand how many other Malibu Classics like this I've ever seen. The problem is that it makes finding parts IMPOSSIBLE. That seems to go for any Chevelle/Cutlass variant from 73-77, not just Malibus. We've literally been looking for a new/decent waterfall grille for that car for more than a decade.
