  • Cleaned up! I'm ready for spring already!

After the lowering springs were done this morning, I gave her a bath and got her in the sun a bit to show her off. I put the tonneau's on just to see how they look painted and installed. I like em!

Can it get warm out now please???!!!???

I think everyone has those green chairs.

Looks really damn good! The tonneau cover is a nice touch - I don't see them in our neck of the woods that often... normally see them on cars that are in the southwest of the US.

What springs did you end up going with? Did you go the full mile with relocation brackets and adjustable Panhard rod?

Springs are Eibach sportlines. I did get the QA1 on-car adjustable panhard bar, but no LCA or relocation brackets.

Did you take it out at all, or did you just get as far as your driveway for the pics? I'm thinking about improving the stance on my car, but given the more flexible structure of the vert and the fact that mine already has 188K miles on it, I don't want to stress it with too harsh of a spring rate. Do you know what the spring rate is on your Sportlines? How's the ride quality?

I took it out just a mile or so down the road, still very sandy and wet out. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to cut a tire or rub making turns Everything seems OK so far. I don't know what the spring rate is on the Eibachs....It felt really good, but I couldn't really corner hard at all yet. We need a few really hard rains to wash away the salt and sand before I get into it too hard.

OK, I'll be hitting you up for feedback later then. I have an inquiry into Strano to find out if his springs would work on my sixer, but like I said, I don't really want to hammer on the car's structure more than I have to so I don't end up with fatigue and fatal structure problems. Knowing Sam, he won't give me an answer until he gets me on the phone and can interview me about it first! But I appreciate that kind of dedication to making sure the application of the parts is correct for my purposes.

Looks good, but put me on the stake and burn me, but only certain cars can pull off convertibles, 4th Fbodies is not one of those cars.
