Aw man you need at LEAST 22s!

    Think:

You'd fit right in 'round these parts

On a side note, my uncle used to have a Ford Econoline conversion van and that thing was sweet. Cushy ride, loads of room, fold down couch in the back, TV, epic lighting.

no doubt, i had to look betwen the two photos a couple times.

Thanks Joel, I agree. That was the hardest part, finding the right wheel without going "over the top". I knew I didn't want a 15" wheel again, and definitely didn't want anything larger than an 18".....I finally found these 17" wheels, and a tire with the appropriate amount of sidewall strength, thru Belle-Tire. Really like the way it turned out.

I wants to see interior pics! Does it have the 13 inch tube TV stuck in the ceiling with the VCR? Always loved those.

If I ever have enough money to have a fleet of cars, Angie can bet her sweet ass I'll have a conversion van very similar to this. Those are the ultimate family vacation vehicles.... aside from buying a full on RV.

Thanks guys......LOL, yes those are plastic runners. I actually covered entire carpet before we left for Florida, nothing worse than trying to get Gulf beach sand out of plush carpet. So yes welkom to Grandma's house.

Mike, one is the old tube TV and the other is a small LCD flip down (you can see it flipped down behind the second row seats). Both are hooked up to a seperate VCR/DVD player......

I now have a place to go hang out when the wife kick's me out of the house. LOL

                            Made some more improvements:

Clay barred, buffed, and waxed the entire thing.

Removed the factory Chevy emblems, and replaced the conversion company's (Explorer) with their updated chrome versions.

Straightened out the tailpipe (previous owner ran over a curb and had the tailpipe way out of alignment with the exhaust cutout in the side molding), and then installed a new chrome exhaust tip.

In the process of switching out the mirrors for the new style GM two piece versions.

And probably the biggest improvement: Painted the inside of the grill body color, put a vinyl layover on the bowtie (not sure I like the color though), and installed new parking lamps.

The first photo is the best before shot I have of the grill.....

You are spending entirely to much time and money on a van.

LOL, yeah you could be right. Although, total invested, I'm still way under "market value". Besides if I'm gonna drive something I prefer it to have some class, and this thing has come a long ways in that department.
