My new hood

Just picked up a new hood from craigslist. I got it for $50 buck! Its in great shape with only some minor surface rust on the under side. The seller even has a really great Knight Rider K.I.T.T. replica. I've invited him to join us at woodward bit we'll see.

I think the hood will look pretty awesome on the 'bird:

I'm gonna have the hood painted as well as the fenders and maybe the rear spoiler depending on cost.

Yeah I think it'll look pretty good on there. It'll also help remove some of the pealing clear coat that's on my current stock hood. I'm also hoping that it will lower engine compartment temperatures a bit, because I didn't wrap my headers, and my TBI breathes from inside the engine compartment ... I'm hoping that the hood will help a little.



In reality, I just need to get that TPI setup I have ported and get some new cylinder heads for this thing ... But one thing at a time. I have an edlebrock performer intake + heads set waiting to be put on my 383 setup, but I have to wait on some block work before I can build that thing.
