              We decided that the vinyl presented too many installation issues with all the contours that it had to traverse (we tried it, and it was a nightmare to work with), plus I had concerns about longevity. We had a real craftsman in paint available to us and overall the cost wasn't all that much more, so I chose to go with paint.

                    Paint is WAY better than vinyl for doing this. Vinyl is good for judging the look without it being permanent, thats about it IMO.
