  • What was your first car?

    Mine was car was actually a truck. A 1995 GMC Sonoma 2wd 2.2L 5spd.

    Day I brought it home....

New wheels and 2" drop a few weeks later

Airbagged it about a year later

As you can see I always used it as a truck! Was always fun showing up to ride and airing the front up and letting the air out in the rear and unloading the bike without a ramp. lol

My 1st car was a 51 Chevy hardtop. I made a split manifold for it duals, through glass packs, conversion floor shift from 3 on the column, bullet grill, and tucked and rolled interior. Dark Metallic Green with laser flipper hub caps.

They are/were a great truck in their day. I think they are much better than the Colorado that replaced them!
I swear I would love to find my exact truck again and buy it. mine was a 4.3 auto though. It held many many dirtbikes as well like Toms did!

                1969 Chevelle 300 Deluxe

I bought it when I was 14. It was sitting next to a barn in Sheppard, MI. The guy sold it to me for a grand - he wanted a young kid to enjoy it who would make it right. I fixed it up and drove it when I was 16-17. Ended up selling it when I was 18 as a roller (milkshaked the oil, toasted the 355) and bought the 55 Bel Air which now has that motor. Here's how it looked about 10 years ago. Sure do miss it. I don't have many photos of it, only a few bad digital pics from an old Sony Mavica.

I would have to attemp to find some pics as it was before we had digital camera's but when I was 9 my uncle gave me a 1950 Ford 2 door coupe, flathead V8, Three on the Tree
He then passed away 3 months later...

Mom made me sell the car in '01 becuase she didn't want "our car lot" at the new house in the subidivisioin.

Used that money plus some they ended up putting with to get my Camaro I have now which I got in '04 when I was 15 and obviously was the first car I had when I got my license

Meh, I definitely don't want a 305 TBI and I don't like the dual square headlights, I like the single round.
