Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
First photoshoot of 2012, the sun was really working against us with the shadows. Anyway, have two nice places right against the water, just need to get there at the right time so the shadowing isn't as bad.
Here's my favorites:
And some from the iPhone for comparison:

So we are looking through these and Courtney notices that the iPhone pictures are "10x better than the first batch".
This is the exact reasoning I had in the calendar thread. Phones DO take nice pictures, IMO better than whatever camera you have.
Pics look great, I wanted to take some pics today but didnt want to chance it with no insurance and salted roads.
Fog lights soon?
The digital camera takes a lot better pictures, but the iPhone pics were in HDR mode which is why the red is brighter. The only reason the iPhone pictures look 10x better is because they're shrunken down. Blow each picture up to full size and then come back and tell me which picture works better. I posted the same pics on Camaro5.com and when they load, they load full size before they shrink down and it was honestly the first time I looked at the iPhone picture full size, it was OOGLY. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191682 Regardless, the calendar discussion is moot because every picture this year was accepted regardless of origin as long as it met the dimension requirements.
Yessir! Brandenburg and then the old Tin Fish (now I think it's called Tryst?)
And definitely yes to the tint, I just don't know when I can do it since I remember you can't roll the windows down for a day or two and I have to roll my windows down every day to get in and out of the parking lot at work.

Definitely want fog lights soon, though!

just open the door a little instead of rolling the windows down

Yeah I honestly don't think I could. When you pull in, there's a badge reader you have to swipe your ID badge through. Even with the windows rolled down in the Camaro, I have to really work to lean out of the window to reach the badge reader (the Camaro's windows are so small compared to the Trailblazer). With how wide the Camaro's doors are, I'd have to roll too far forward and by then I'd be hitting the bar. I could probably work something out though one of the weeks that I have a company car. Either way, I'll have to pay attention tomorrow when I get to work and see how well it'd work.
