The $20 admission was a killer! I thought it was like $10 or $12 when I was there last in 2002. My dad and I used to go every year since way back when they used to have it in the fields behind the high school. We went on Friday this year to avoid the crowds since Saturday is usually the busiest day. I saw the 01 Berger and I swear I had just seen it at the 28th street cruise. I'll have to see what that ended up going for as well. I had actually looked at that Berger in about October of 2001 when it was new and wanted it but couldn't justify or afford the $40K sticker on it.

I was there Sunday and never seen the 80, but if I had known it was there I would have looked for it. I did see the 01 Berger in the Barn. And what is with the $20 admission price. Last time I was there it was $12. Good way to drive all the spectators away, but maybe thats what they want.Western Michigan Camaro Club ~ President

Ol Time Rock N Roller On Board
Just talked to the owner of the HOT 80.
He said it was one of the worst shows he ever went to. All the cars were going for peanuts!
The HOT 80 only got a high bid of $ 16,000.00 !!! His 1990 Black 454 Pickup only went for $5,000.00, He had $7,200.00 in it.
That's what I offered him as part of the HOT 80 deal, instead of cash, but he did not want to let it go for that little in June.
The 1956 Yellow Buick he also took down, only had a high bid of $13,000.00.
He is still thinking of taking the HOT 80 to Barrett-Jacksons, but it will depend on what day/time slot they give him. Stay tune..."OL Time Rock n' Roller on Board "
