I realized today that I've owned my Camaro for 7 years! I bought it when I was a senior in highschool. of those 7 years it's only ran for 3
and it has also had a lot of transformation. Looking back I probably would not do it again, but i'm glad I did.
It used to be a fun little 400rwhp street car, now it's a xxx rwhp useless nice weather stretch of a "street car" lol
Anyways, screw all the nonsense, I just went through my photo bucket looking at all my old pictures and had a serious trip down memory lane!
The day I brought it home (yea that's a scanned picture! lol)

back in highschool my buddy Joe Cauley had a '96 Z28. That was my "rental roo" as we called it. anytime I would do a head or cam swap on my car I would borrow his car and he would usually take his Dad's Corvette GTR which in the day was a pretty sweet car, now it just collects dust in the back of his dealership and I think in the last year I've put more miles on that car than him or his dad has

Lol look at that cluttered ass engine bay!

and on my high school senior skip day I was at W2W with my buddy getting a dyno tune as I had finished I think a head swap the night before and spent the whole night driving around just to change the oil at 7am and head to the dyno at 9!

Then it got some different wheels

and this same day with the OG around here

decent pic with the chrome 10 spokes

Then there was the one meet and greet that I almost made it too until this piece of $hit spec clutch broke on my way there

Then a big 'ol suspension order back in the day when I put the 9" in

Or back in the day (like '05) when HID's were like $400 for a kit and very few people had them lol

My Mom and her Ex-Husbands 30th anniversary TA. that was a fun car that I got to put a lot of miles on too!

and then the dumb idea of "hey lets just turbo this thing..."

Then the engine bay was painted and it started to look like a car again

few turbos and a few engines later

and Now today it's up and running again. I have my glass guy coming tomorrow to throw my new windshield in. I have some bumper/fender alignment to still mess with and the exterior still needs a good detail. But hell it's been a long ride to this point! I drove the car home from work today and left my truck at the shop. I changed the oil in my garage and went for a solid 45 minute cruise around. No heat, no ac, no radio, and no overdrive. It was a blast just cruise'n around and getting into a little boost here and there

Peace out I hope ya'll enjoyed my timeline of Camaro Ownership!
