    Definitely didn't expect that kind of carbon buildup with how well it runs...29.43 mpg consistently on the highway :]

      how many miles? Makes me real afraid to even touch mine.

          I take care of it, so the first 85k of it's life must have not been so hot. And Phil, it's got 127,xxx miles right now. I was only leaking about 1/2 quart of oil every 5,000 miles from the valve covers, and leaking a good amount of coolant, so I just chose to do the whole set of gaskets, so I could p&p the heads and intakes.

            I've never seen inside the cylinders before, it looks cool. How would someone clean them up a bit or is that just the way it has to stay? I'm still a bit young and have never taken an engine apart.
