Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Sold my T/A and bought something easier to get in and out of
Sold my T/A and bought something easier to get in and out of
Well guys I finally did it. I'm 40 now and after having 2 major back surgeries getting in and out of a 4th Gen just wasn't fun. I sold it, put some cash in my pocket and replaced it with this 1964 Chevy Biscayne. It's powered by a 327 and packed with a power glide. It's not a race car or show car, but a super nice cruiser. It's super super solid. The guy I got it from found it in a barn where it had set for 15-20 years. Let me know what you think.
1. "Sold my T/A and bought something easier to get in and out of"...I won't lie...first thing I thought of was that you found my ex-girlfriend...
2. WTF is going on with that headliner...
3. Looks pretty damn clean...
4. Hard to give any faults to a '64 Biscuit...nearly a limitless build platform going forward...
Nice buy...I woulda rather had the T/A...but I can understand the pros/cons for getting this one over the T/A...
However, after 30 seconds of contemplation, maybe I'd take this one over the T/A...

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.

That headliner is going to be the first thing to Go. I have no idea what they were thinking. My son said it looks like it was made from a pair of pajama pants. I have 3 kids and a wife so we could never all go in the Trans Am anyway and now we can. The truth is the Trans Am was just fun to drive for about 5 miles then my back would start to hurt. I had only put about 180 miles on the Trans Am all year. This I'll get in drive and enjoy. It's got a soft seat and a ride height that's easy to get into and out of.
