  • 383 swap

    My dad and I were able to work on pulling to 350 out of the Iroc today for a few hours so we dropped the transmission and lifted the motor out. Here are a few pictures from today. Hope you enjoy.

      Thanks Darren, hopefully in the next few weeks the engine bay get sanded and painted and the 383 will be dropped in.

          and this is it as of right now we can't finish putting it together until we bring it up from the basement.

            Wow! I agree with Darren, your car is one of my favorite 3rd gens (I love the blue body with shiny rims). Sounds like it's going to be 100% show quality (if it wasn't already) once you're done sanding the engine bay.

                The 383 looks great - definitely looking forward to seeing it get put together!

                Now, just finish it before next Saturday so you can bring it to the dyno day

                  I wish It would be done, but there's tons of work to do and I'm gonna get stuck waiting for parts in the mail like the headers which have to be made then shipped out and other parts.

                          ya this is also one of my fav cars on here! good luck with your project i hope you keep us up to date and if u need to ahand with that block up the stairs i am sure i can handle it for ya if u need a hand !
