Should've seen the gunk that came out of the lock cylinder holes and other crevices, it was nasty.

I laid some Wet Glaze last night, I couldn't even put the car cover on it, it kept falling off. Laying some hardshell wax tomorrow, still haven't decided on what I want to use, but you guys can see it at the Meet and Greet.

I'm gonna take the white wheels and polish and wax them as well, and clean up the wheel wells if I have time.

Haha, yes. It's a nice car, it always killed me to see it kept so dirty in all the pics when it was for sale, particularly the white seats. Still have the same motor?

It was very very dirty when I bought it. The seats still haven't came up really clean, I do clean them as often as I can and put some Leather RX on them but they still aren't even near clean. It has the same motor with a couple changes.

Ah, a nice, clean white car wish mine was that clean
I know this might sound weird, but have you tried diluted woolite and a horse hair brush? It is something I learned off of the autolavish threads over on motown, and it works really well.

I've tried worse than that. A plastic bristled brush with cleaner and conditioner. It still won't come back to normal. I've even let the cleaner sit in the seat for a good hour before brushing or wiping them down.

wow, I guess I am of no use then as I have never had white leather. Good luck at getting them better.

Give the diluted Woolite a try, and don't use tooooo firm of a brush, soft bristled toothbrush should be about right. I too have used this per Marc's advice and it's worked surprisingly well.

Oddly enough, also give a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser a try.

I hope those things clean up, that car had so much wasted potential IMO, good to see someone's bringing it back to life.

I'll give it shot then if I have some time before the Meet and Greet.

Wow! That just sounds like a lot of work, but that shine looks pretty awesome! Makes me tired just thinking of the day I've got to detail mine lol!

Another thing to consider for the seats is a DA polisher with an interior brush attachment. The guys at AutoLavish have this and it might be a good option for seats so thoroughly soiled.

X2 on mr clean magic erasers. best leather cleaner you can buy. I used them on white seats in a 65 corvette last week and they were a completely different shade of white when i was done.

If nothing works, and you want perfection, you could buy these:

I would but I just don't have that cash laying around for seats.
