i was at alert lanes when the hotels was on fire, i went down and watched, they had walls up since a few people jumped, i was like 12 or 13, so it wasnt 40 yrs ago, lol 30 yrs ago. maybe 31. they just did a big right up on it last yr.sigpicComment

Actually I don't think it's illegal to paint it as long as you check with the DMV/SOS/whatever first and the letters/numbers are clearly visible. Alan with his SSON20S Camaro had his license plate painted black with the letters done in the same color as his flames. The cop pulled him over for the plate not because it was painted but because he didn't put the tags on the plate. I see Don's dad has the tags on it, so he might be able to get away with it without any harassment.- Brian Meissen
