Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I decided to put together a video of all the famous Hollywood Cars I've seen, and this time I composed some music for it! And mind you, this is NOT a slideshow (with the exception of just a few pics), this is a video that shows a lot of the cars driving.
You can tell which footage is old and which is new. Enjoy!

Out of all of them I'd have to take the Turbo Interceptor, just too cool looking!
Ecto 1 would be second in line, it's a hard toss up between the two.
About the Michael Keaton Batmobile, that things street legal? lol. Didn't think the owner would be driving something like that around. I remember seeing the owner on the show Hollywood Treasure on Syfy. http://www.syfy.com/hollywoodtreasure/ I think the guy did live in Michigan.
You even had the car from The Wraith, which was an absolutely crap-tastic movie, but the car was pretty cool...

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
I wonder if anyone owns the 66 Toronado from the movie Dark Half or is the car is rotting somewhere in a junk yard... Now that would be a unique car to have from a movie!
I'm sure someone owns it, "remember when you f$ck with me, you're f$cking with the best!"
Ahhhh the high toned son of a b!tch! Wonder what the cops would think of a car driving around woodward with a decal like that, lol.
Dark Half...I haven't seen that one! Is that a recommended one?
I've been wanting to see The Wraith. I'm sure it's cheesy as hell, but I can usually get past cheesiness if there is good car action.

I liked it a lot! It's a great sci-fi flick, not really car related, but was really fun to watch!
Wraith on the other hand, has some cheesiness to it of course, it's from the 80s. But I grew up to watching movies like this so I really liked it a lot. Wraith was one of the first car movies I have ever watched when I was younger. One day I flicked it on the tube and it was on! First race with the Vette racing the Daytona was pretty cool, I think Ozzy was playing in the background. Been a few months since I watched the movie!
Another fun B movie to watch, also has Charlie Sheen in it is "No Man's Land." There's a sweet IROC in it, that gets totaled. The Porsches in that movie are sick too! Love those years!!!
I bet the Porsche is one of the first cars to ever have the deep dish look. I'm pretty sure those wheels were stock on this model Porsche in the movie, looks sick! Loved how the fenders flared out too.
I just watched No Man's Land for the first time last week!! That movie was awesome! It had me at the edge of my seat the entire time, because I was waiting to see what Charlie Sheen would do.
I'm a total '80s nut myself - the cars, the movies, the music, ect.

Yeah, Sheen played this part all to well. Seems like a clean cut rich kid, in reality he steals Porsches. Would not be surprised if Sheen tried reenacting a part from the movie in his own life at one point.
80s era is great in my opinion. I laugh when people say the movies and music suck! They don't realize most the music and movies that is played standard in bars and in restaurants is from the 80s. When they think of 80s they usually think of Duran Duran or some shit like that.
Just top of my head

To me, seems like decade after decade the comedy, music, and movies get shittier and shittier. Just like the economy : )
The big movies that everyone laughs and raves about today do not even compare to the comedy back in the 80s.
Not saying I don't like other music from other eras, I like rap and many other movies from the 90s and 2000. But if people are going to say that the big guns of today such as Steve Carrell and Ben Stiller compare to Bill Murray and Eddie Murphy, well I guess I have to laugh some more.
Anyways, back to the subject at hand. If you can't respect these movies for what they are for, "decent B movies," well go and watch some Inception bullshit that has a plot of dream inside a dream inside a dream! People just raved about the movie, f!!cking sucked! People ranked it #1 on IMDB. Matrix I loved, had a decent plot, great acting and awesome special effects.
I guess the reason why some of these movies get bad raps is because people are followers. Lot of people out there love to jump on bandwagons and never critique a movie by themself.
I have a few friends that look at Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB before they go to the movie theater. I told them, don't you know that this can subconsciously fool you into thinking what the critics think. I'm like why don't you watch the movie first, then critique it yourself. A lot of people can't think for themselves. This is how certain eras and movies get a bad a rap, 80s is immediately thought as cheesiness when brought up in a group discussion. There's no way around it, it just is!
I wonder what some people will think of this decade 20 years later It ain't good from my opinion. Music sucks, Movies are either hit or miss, car scene is in the slumps, and economy is sh!t.
Lot of typing for just talking about 80s movies, lol.
I really didn't even grow up in the era, I was to young to enjoy it. But over the 28 years I've lived, I can tell good movies and music from bad movies and music. But hey, everyone has there own opinion, this is mine...

Erik, I think you and I need to meet up! I think we will have a lot to talk about. I have been saying for a long time that people are such fad followers and brainwashed by pop culture. I too, like music from other eras as well. But it does just keep getting worse. I never thought I would say this, but the garbage that's out there today actually makes Britney Spears sound good. As much as she is total bubblegum crap, at least the songs written for her are catchy and well written. The stuff out there today is just atrocious. Everything you hear today has the shortest lifespan. What music will kids today remember when they reach their 30's?
As for movies, Caddyshack, Naked Gun, Top Gun, Indiana Jones are all classics. When it came to casting, they favored good acting over looking like a pornstar. Not that I mind looking at hot naked women. The critics bashed Caddyshack and Naked Gun, because they didn't like the slapstick humor. But they still became classics! Too many people buy into the reviews and form preconceived notions.
