      If it was a Gen I LS6 it would be a better fit in my chevelle since that was the vehicle it set many records in originally.
      On a sidenote I am sure you could fit a BB under the stock hood

      Looks good!

          No im not afraid to mod it I have plans to put a t56 into it, cause my trans needs to go. And thanks for the kind words everyone.

                Wow thats a gorgeous car! There was a white/orange 77 Z28 just like that for sale on my street when i was growing up and i wanted it badly!!

                  I hope my '79 comes out that clean. Lot of body work in a ahort time, as well as mechanical. Good looking ride though.

                      I sure it will, my cousin and me painted mine in a week. I did a lot of the body work with him babysiting me and he shot the paint , but he's been painting custom cars for 40 years. From what he tells me it's all in the prep.
