1993 Z28 78,000 miles. My new toy. Now for some mods....

I have to say I really wasn't shooting for a 4th gen but it was a great buy. I was looking for a black 1992 Z28 with T-Tops. I've had a ton of third gens so I have some research to do on this car.

My first order of business is to fix the headliner and the window switches and then I am going to get some Torq Thrust II Wheels.

I'm also going to start looking for a set of leather seats to swap out.

Are you set on the Torq wheels? I know someone selling a really nice MINT set of ZR1's that would look great on that car!

Fuel Injection on 93s are bank fired not sequentially fired. If it is an automatic 93s used a 4L60 with a TV cable and 94+ used a 4L60E. In the 6 speeds the gear ratio were unique to 93. 93 had a one year only intake manifold, different IAC, many fuel system changes including the shrader valve, fuel pressure regulator location and injectors(22 vs 24) , different brakes,
alternator, something is unique about the AC system, and many many other changes.

I need to invest in an ALDL cable and learn to flash chips

hmmm, i run a old style 700r4 no electronics, changed most of the stuff and run 30LB inj. like he said its to mod so all that can be changed. othere than fuel rails looks to be the same, the wires on 94 up have self heating 02's, 93 have single wire, thats all i run, tunning never really has been a problem just take it to a guy that knows what they are dojng with that style. i love mine, no mass airflow, i can change anything and make it work.
