Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!

Video: Callaway C6, AAT Camaro, and Mercedes CL 65
I visited Cauley Performance Automotive (was Chevrolet) a few months ago. The people were very nice about letting me take footage, and even told me to try sitting in the Merc, which is about a $200,000 car (I didn't ask, they just offered.)
Any feedback/constructive criticism would be appreciated, as I am considering taking some videography classes. Thanks!

My suggestions for video making would be to use actual still photographs in the places where it is just a stationary shot. It seems kinds odd to see the car stationary with things moving in the background. Also - I'd stick to one kind of transition - the fade. All the other transitions are "high school-ish". Keep up the good work, and good choice in music - very neutral!

First, x2, nice video, Chris.
Second, respectfully disagree with just stills...then it just turns into a slideshow, not a video...
Third, don't start with closeups of your target (not everyone is going to know what they're looking at)...start with an overall panning view that shows the entire target, and then close in on the details.
Fourth, music to a video is like wheels to a car...they make or break it...just sayin'...
Fifth, definitely take a couple videography classes...you'd be good at it...

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
just have to say, thanx Chris for the excellent footage and time you put into these videos, awesome as always..
Love the C6 and the Merc, but the 5th gens still dont do much for me..

I like having a loud car, every time the neighbors dog barks, I just go let my car sit and idle in the driveway
Thank you for your honest input. I need to hear these things so I can have ideas on what to improve upon. Still in my beginning stages, but have gotten much better - you'd probably cringe at my camera work when I first started!
