Not to hi-jack the thread, but Jeff did you know that Mecham did a V6 fourth gen car too.......I didn't realize that until a couple months ago when I was doing some research. Can't be many of those around.

that is most certainly a mecham TA, in fact, its the only one ive ever seen pics of. There is a reason not many were sold.. they are hideous. It seems to ring a bell that I read once the build quality/fitment on the pieces was poor too.

I think you might be right, it is a Mecham (they have pics of the same car on their website).......as far as hideous ???, I'll agree that particular car is, but most of the 4th Gen Mechams that I've seen I tend to like (it's some of their 2nd Gen cars that I don't like....but even those are starting to grow on me).
In regards to the fit/finish/quality of their cars I would say you read wrong. I've seen several over the years (including the one at this year's M&G), and the quality is equal too or better than that of SLP. Here are some close up photos of a Mecham at the TA Nats, the the fitment looks pretty good IMO.............
