  • Akodo's new DD: 2003 Tiburon

Allright, im ready for a beatin. I was surfing Craigslist, looking for a new commuter car, when this popped up. 2003 Tiburon GT, 6 speed V6, leather interior, power sunroof, Infiniti 7 speaker system, etc etc. 84k miles, all for $2100.

The next nearest one I could find was in the 5-7k range, so seemed like a good deal. It does have some front end damage I'm working on fixing.

All in all, its been a pretty good car so far. Its fun to drive, zips in and out of traffic easier than my Bird did, and gets decent mileage. I'm not going all ricer on it, but it does look like it will be getting a body kit over the winter since it will be cheaper to do the repairs that way than to get the stock kick panel and nose.
