If I didn't know better I'd say that looks like Grand Rapids.

Those are pretty big waves for Grand Rapids, don't ya thiink?

Whitecaps like that on the Grand River would wash the Gerald R. Ford Library out to Grand Haven!

There's a hint in the answer - I had to go to this place to get the tires for the 10-spokes...

Ding ding ding -- we have a winnah!

Of course, if I had turned 45 degrees to my right while taking the breakwater picture, people would see your "office," the US Coast Guard station! And no doubt, you guys have made plenty of runs to that boat launch!

Just a sidebar comment for Larry -- just wanted to let you know that the trip to Muskegon was a real "bonzai run" to get in, get some tires from Dave, snap a pic or two, and then blast back to the Eastside in time to report for Devil's Night patrol duty. If I would have had the luxury of time, I would have wanted to meet up with you and Dave and any other area MiFBody folks to have a burger and a beer, and maybe get some pics of all our cars together. Sounds like you were out that day with the Firebird group's color tour, but I just wanted to let you know that I wasn't trying to be anti-social or anything by not letting you know I was coming into town. I was only in Muskegon proper for about 60 to 90 minutes!
