Super Chevy's made 458 HP and 534 lb-ft of torque...and it's not even that heavily modded.Originally posted by WMCCjames View Posthaha...whatev. I had probabaly the most modded one on this side of the state and it was still slow.

Impressive...Mine was way more overkill than that and didn't make anywhere near that kind of power. I think they forgot to mention they put a 150 shot on it.Originally posted by MP81 View PostSuper Chevy's made 458 HP and 534 lb-ft of torque...and it's not even that heavily modded.

Seriously, I don't know how they got that much power out of it. I had bigger heads, bigger intake, bigger cam and more displacement. Maybe I just needed a Fast system on it.
...and a 150 shot.

I'm not sure - but they really did a good job - it's to the point of tempting me to build a clone of that, with a slightly bigger cam. Cause it's not even that expensive!Originally posted by WMCCjames View PostImpressive...Mine was way more overkill than that and didn't make anywhere near that kind of power. Very nice!! I plan on swapping engines in my TA here hopefully next Spring. Shes getting a 400 sbc. Sorry to say the TPI set up will be going bye bye. It's getting a big cam and a carb.
I love the look...But I agree with James. Heck just the Edelbrock hi flow intake and runners were $650.00. TPI's are expensive! Its going in my Bro in laws Jeep, Taking out the 4.2L and in with the 5.0L TPI. haha!
Looks very nice, I wasn't sure about doing it the same color, or just black. (lol...what happens if I repaint my car!)
But it looks really good the same color! Great job!Last edited by tenpin842; September 23rd, 2010, 12:24 PM.sigpic
