Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Matt, if I were to get a newer camaro, I would only get it if it was exactly like yours. Love the center mounted exhaust and the black and red theme you got going. Very nice
no the tips were originally welded together with a small little piece originally...but any of them i've ever seen are broken...they're just like that...they're actually pretty strait there...usually they get kinda bad after a few days and ya just gotta push 'em up strait again.
Matt, you need to like Greg (WMCC SSLS1) did he braced the CME tips by welding a 1/4" x 1" piece of aluminum bar to the back preventing the small tab in the middle from cracking appart.
WOW though, you wanna try to make mine shine like that? I dont have a garage, so mine gets kinda dirty sometimes.
i'm sure if/when i get some sort of turbo or SC and a front mount IC, i'll be offing the SS SLP grill for something a little more open...when that time comes i'll give ya a hollar!
Looks awesome!!!
what kind of cleaner do you use on your rims
thanks Dino! means a lot coming from someone with a car like yours! after i wash them with an older wash mit, and they're dry, i just use a microfiber towel and use this stuff called "wax enhancer" it's basically just a spray wax, made by a company called Hi-Tech. it's not sold in stores, i get it from my suppliers at work. best stuff i've found yet and it's only $3 a can!!
LOL @ your Ford-happy neighbors rolling with the Fusion, Escape and Explorer.
Edit: The SS is looking good.
haha yeah the people that live across the street from me, the mom works for ford...they always have those pieces of junk in their driveway lol...another guy at the end of my street works for ford and is a pretty cool ass neighbor, we help eachother on our cars a lot...
You could try to eat off his car but odds are he'll punch your side windows in and assault you.
LMAO!!! on MattODoom hahahahaha
so how much time total did you put into the cleaning process that day?
i dunno i never really time myself and it was my day off and i had nothing to do, so i took my time doin it...maybe an hour and a half tops?
haha sweet job, Matt! And your camera looks like it was able to take these pictures quite nicely, too!
i thought you'd be proud of me Brian...i used your "poor mans tripod" idea from woodward...except you used a folding chair....i used a much better tri-pod...a 3 ton jack i was going to take a picture of it just for you, but my camera batteries died
Thanks Josh! i really like how my car is coming together!
Gary!...i know i need to do that...probably over the winter i'll take it off along with a ton of other things under my car and clean everything and fix it all!
Pat...i just got some HID bulbs and threw them in...they are pretty bright i love 'em...
