Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Chris I agree with you about it being sad how it goes, I just hope when I make it past all of this and start my collection owning a Mustang, Ferrari, Porsche, Trans Ams, Skylarks, and a Edsel are not going to get me bashed cause it would then be the time I walked away from a group of people I majorly respect because of their ability to lend a hand and help. Be sad to see something this small create a divide in a group of people.
Guys laugh all you want, but I see the Lingenfelter collection and think of a person who has a broad taste, maybe not what YOU would choose but most of you can appreciate the collection.. Nuff said..
I think you and Chris are overreacting to the comments in here - no one is going to bash you or anyone for their taste in cars (nor has anyone bashed anyone in here for their taste).
Surprisingly I don't - mostly because I don't want to know what I spent - though I know we have a thread here somewhere about adding it all up

I agree Brian..... Chris, I was trying to respond to your comment about those of us putting down foreign cars as being ignorant. As far as being civil about it, I thought that was exactly what I was doing. There was no personal attack in any of the statements that I made.
When you live in a state that has had one of the top two spots in unemployment for a few years due to the automotive industry taking a dump, it's a nerve that strikes many of us. The big three are in our back yard and the more they strive, the better our surrounding area is.

No hard feelings, just my point of view.
Thank you for the reply Justin. It is easy to misinterpret what people are saying on the forums, because it is all in text and it is easy to assume the worst. I think when you said "IGNORANT BUT IGNORANT IT IS NOT," I interpreted that as yelling at me with the caps down, so I apologize for the misunderstanding.
My intention was not to offend the American worker, as I think it is important to support them. When I made the "ignorant" comment, I was referring to cars within the big 3 more than foreign cars. Sometimes I hear people say things like, "GM cars suck, only Ford makes real cars," or vice versa. What I meant was, I think it's ignorant to say that one manufacturer makes ALL inferior products and another makes ALL great one's.
I apologize for the misunderstanding and I hope this clears things up.
