Definitely. A lot of those cars are really cool - Supra, NSX, Skyline, S2000.....But because of FATF and the newer Need For Speed games, those cars have become so over-commercialized and a lot of people don't appreciate them like true car enthusiasts.Originally posted by 97BlackBird View PostI agree with you 100%. And I think Fast and Furious gave all imports a bad look.

I agree with you completely, thankfully the R34 skylines here in the US are not owned by these morons because they simply can't afford them.Originally posted by DtRockstar1 View PostI'm glad that people still like the Skyline. A lot of people hate it, but I think it's mainly Fast and the Furious that made it look bad. To me, it's not the car that's bad, it's the stereotypical person driving it that ruins it.

Some of them are registered as Kit cars, because they required some assembly. In other words, the engine may have been shipped separately from the car.Originally posted by MP81 View PostAs far as I know, the R34s are registered as kit cars, because they can't be registered otherwise due to all the regulations they don't meet.
I spoke with the owner of the R34, and his wasn't registered as a kit car. He was actually the second owner though, so he didn't have to go through all the headaches of getting that car converted and approved.
