The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. yeah Ive only been in two years, but as soon as I got to basic I regretted only signing with the national guard and not active duty, thats why im looking for a active duty position, but I kinda want to hold off til after my deployment tho, wanna get atleast one under my belt, but dont tell the wife that

You can make a nice living in the Military and see the world. I was fortunate enough to have a wife who could deal with the rigors of military life. A supportive spouse goes a long ways towards a successful military career. Saw many marriages end because of the stress of military life...
oh yeah just in my 2 years ive scene alot of that, my wife fully supports the military but shes just not looking forward to a year apart, doesnt make it better that my unit keeps on scheduling and canceling deployments so shes getting frustrated with it

When we deployed to iraq in Mar of 03 we were called in for an alert on Super bowl Sunday.. We were told when we would deploy and effective immediately no alcohol.. A lot of peoples super bowl parties were screwed.... And what was so stupid is we weren't deploying for another month...

well I just dropped my car off at steves shop to get tuned, picking it up on sunday hopefully
Wow nice car Mike. Sounds like you lucked into a hell of a deal. You have a lot of aftermarket suspension goodies under there . Looks like someone was looking to autox the car. Do you think you might be up some some Auto X events. I know Nick is been begging to get into autocrossing. Where does your exhaust come together? By the pics I would assume the pipes would come together just under the passenger manifold. I have never seen an exhaust setup like that. Is there a performance benefit over the typical dual exit cat back? We should make an effort to get together. Should make for a good road trip for me and Nick.
BTW settle a disagreement for me and my old lady. Is your car black or gun metal gray?

Thanks guys, Lol I'll try and stay out of Livonia, you change your exhaust yet? Thought about autox but the car needs some work yet, where do you race at? The color is actually purple pearl metallic but it needs a paintjob really bad. I'd definatelly like to meet up with you and nick I haven't seen him in almost a year, not since we graduated basic
as far as the exhaust, the y pipe comes under the trans and comes together at about the passengers feet and than comes back from there, you can see it in the pics tho, it only has shorties on it now, I wanna put long tubes on it but i wanna run a similar set up as know, but with my suspension and fuel lines i can run it much different than it is now, although I don't like the way the exhaust looks from behind, might change it, idk yet, you can kinda see on this pic where the ypipe comes together.
