  • MG with an LT1

This seems like a very viable swap and looks right at home. Might have to own one someday.

The first car I ever owned was a '71 OPEL GT. When I finally sold it, the new owner dropped a '69 CHEVY 350 into it. There are alot of older JAG's that get the CHEVY 350 transplant, too. The wildest swap I ever saw was a HONDA CRX with an OLDS 455(w/TORNODO trans.) stuffed in the trunk...still had the 4cylinder in the front (both engines ran, but were used seperately. It had two shifters & ignitions). So, it's not really a suprise to see an MG with an LT1. They did a really good job on the install, though.

Very clean but I'm not a fan of the MG at all. If I was going V8 into small car it would have to be a Ford 5.0/5.8 into a Miata.

I have a friend I used to work with that has a 350 in his TRIUMPH TR-6 (like the one pictured, only red). It's got a fully sorted-out suspension and is blazingly fast. He's driven it all over the country.

              I'd rock a Spitfire with a V8...
