This is an 82 Turbocharged Toyota Corolla.

    T-66 Turbonectics
    Tail wastegate and blow off

Anyways, just thought I would share a few pics of these mean little rides. Feel free to swing by and see the other customer cars on the website.

Different definitions of rice I guess.

To me, these cars are far from being rice. Foreign, sure. Bad ass machines? Absolutely. I love anything that's fast. Domestic or foreign.

Rice, for me at least, are the strobe light kit honda's outside your local Murray's at midnight blasting their stereos.

It does look like an engineering master piece under the hood! Sorry but I don't like foreign name plates on Car's.

Definetly not rice cuz they can prolly beat most cars on this site. I love foreign cars, just don't like what most ppl do to them.

Rice is a POS car that is trying to LOOK fast instead of BE fast

He said they're foreign - he just used the rice smilie as reference, I don't think he was calling them rice.

That said, not my cup of tea but hey I guess if you have the money you can make anything fast right?

                So de-badge them! haha

Definitely pretty cool, but I can't say that's what I would have done with a Samurai. . . If it were me, I think I would have done something like a BBC swap with that kind of outer appearance. . . Why be subtle with a turbo? He's got slicks on the back! Might as well have some noise associated with it! Plus, with the overall length of that Samurai, you wouldn't have to pay a lot for TD's, just bolt a muffler to each header, and assuming you've got long tubes on that thing, they'll dump before the axle without having to use any tubing. . .

I want a samurai baddd! Those things are super capable 4X4's. I bet they are fun to drive though.

BTW... How goes the turbo 3.8L build?

My build? It's been done for a couple years now. I think it's going on year #3 or 4 actually. Ha. Car runs good. I've been having a good time with it.
