  • Cleveland Pics

well, last weekend i went to the Cleveland Grand Prix, because my buddy Joe and his whole team were invited with their series (TCC touring challenge for Corvettes) to be a "support race" for the GP. basically just something more for people to watch!

it was a ton of fun. i left my camera in the car most of the weekend, but i took a few pics of their cars in the paddock. the Champ cars were crazy and they opened the paddock to the public, so it was crazy busy and tons of spectators roaming around.

champ cars leaving pit lane to come into the paddock

Jeff Cauley (yellow car) and Rober Pfefer (black car) going through turn 1

Joe's trailer (the one i wheeled out about a month ago or so) with it's new graphics on!

the team getting ready to go out and grid
    drivers...
Jeff Cauley 39 (yellow with black ZR1's)
Robert Pfefer 38 (black on black)
Danny Kellermeyer 37 (yellow with chrome ZR1's)
Joe Cauley 36 (yellow with silver ZR1's)
the wheels are about the only way to tell the yellow cars apart on the track, that and joe has a silver drivers mirror, danny has a red one and jeff's is yellow.

same picture as above but different spot!

All lined up after the cars were prepped for the next race!

working feverishly into the night because Jeff asspacked a C4 in practice. fortionatly absolutly nothing mechanical was effected, only the hood, fender, and light bucket were smashed...we JB welded damn near the whole front end back on the car you can see part of the Zo6 there! i drove it before!!

Danny's rig! It's a pretty bad ass rig! it holds 3 of the C5's!

yeah it's a ton of fun...the class they run is "prepared" which is a field with either C5's with basically heads/cam motors and full suspension. or C4's that are allowed 383 stroker motors (to compensate for their older chassis's) along with full suspension on the C4's as well....all of the DJ Race/Cauley Vettes are technically not real cars. they are all GM Performance Part Crate Cars basically so no Vin # or titles...well titles for street anyways.

i work 6 days a week, and TCC races are the only time i take a "long weekend" usually take friday and saturday off! it's a ton of fun. kick ass cars too.

haha i just realized that a few of the pics you can see the RAFT sticker on the back of the cars...everyone ask's us what it means and we ask them if they want the clean version or the dirty version...."Rapid Acceleration...Fast Turns" or the real meaning of RAFT....Rip Ass 'n' ****'n Terrorize!! best sticker ever!
