I have to say that I really enjoyed reading this thread from page one till the end. I hope everyone keeps them coming. Some of you did a great job on bringing your cars back to glory.

well, i was just stating that my "then" and "now" pictures go backwards, unlike everyone elses. lol.

I hope I have it done, money will decide. My "topend" has to be better than i thought. AKA more money.

Lets see here, I haven't done a whole lot to the bird yet because I loved it the way it was. But I've changed a few things since I bought it a little over a year ago.. For some reason the attachments are scattered, but I basically just spruced up the engine bay and added vinyl as far as appearance goes.

That is one luscious 'Bird! Supposedly we have the exact same paint, applied by the same factory, and yet my finish doesn't look anywhere as liquid as yours. Do you have an extra clear coat on it?

Blake who did you buy that car from!? I think that car used to be owned by a high school teacher of mine. I recognize the monochrome paint and the C5 wheels the next owner put on. It was a B4C car. If its the car i think it is i gave that car a complete detailing back in 04 when it was bone stock.

Good Eye, the front half was repainted and engine bay painted and cleared glossy bright red by the previous owner about 5000 miles ago.. won't see factory cars with paint like this. (lots and lots of wax too)
