CAM4 just came home with me this past February 2009. A friend found the car for me on eBay, located about 12 miles from him in Northern Virginia.

Here is the car as it sat at the Ford dealership that took it in on trade. It seems to be crying out "Rescue me!"

Here is some accident damage that they didn't bother to repair. After I bought the car, I found another Bright Rally Red door from a 35th Anniversary SS convertible that had met an unfortunate end while trying to impersonate an accordian. 8-O

Another mishap that the car had been subjected to resulted in a do-it-yourself paint job to the rear bumper cover. The paint was either applied with a roller or a sponge, and the painter had to have been drunk. Most four-year olds could do a better job.

The interior of the car looked like it had been used as a dog kennel, and it smelled like it too. The wheels hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the car was rife with signs of abuse and neglect.

Once the car was driven back to Michigan, it immediately went into the Motor City Auto Spa in Royal Oak. They extracted the diamond from the rough.

Here is CAM4 with its new SLP grille, making its MiFbody.com Woodward debut.

Here is the pic from the autotrader ad.

After I got it home and washed and waxed it and put the overlays on.

and finally as it looks today, not much done to the exterior or interior, its all under the hood.

Also, where did you purchase the car from? From that autotrader picture I am wondering if it's the same car I went and looked at once and put in an offer to find out it was sold.... lol.

Car pretty much how I bought it, a.k.a Then (2005):

First mods were taillight covers and fog light covers.

                              Then came the emblem overlays.

                              Middle (2006-2007):

Upgraded with a SS spoiler, SLP Loudmouth, Z06-style badges, and Z06 rims

                              Now (2009):

SS hood, painted stock badges, painted rims.

I want to go back to the Z06-style badges but I'm afraid to take them off my car because the shop who put them on sucks and they'll probably remove my paint.
