  • My new Daily Driver

Well, it's official, I'M GETTING OLD! About 3 months ago I traded my 1995 Camaro Z28 convertible daily driver for this nice 2001 Impala base model 3.4L with only 73K miles. I LOVE this car! It rides so nice and is so comfortable. I joke that it's like driving my La-Z-boy to work compared to the Z28 Since I got it I got the windows tinted and got some sweet polished aluminum Grand Prix wheels off craigslist very cheap. Looks much better than the hubcaps it came with.
    What do you guys think?

Lemme get this straight...you traded away a Z28 'vert for a 6-cylinder sedan, and you live in North Carolina?

You don't even have to worry about snow...

      Yep...you're old.

would not have traded a camaro for that, but i like what you did with it. only other thing i would do is get rid of the pin stripes.

not a bad car, my mom had an impala and they are very comfortable to ride in. I know with my height and poor back i couldn't ever go back to a daily being a camaro next one i get is going to just be fore fun.

I'm liking the fact that it took Pontiac wheels to make the Chevy look better...J/K

            Nice looking car!!!

I know it's no Camaro but at least I didn't get a Toyota or something
I like the styling of the 2000-2005 Impalas. Hey I still have my 2001 Camaro SS AND my 1970 Chevelle SS454. This is just more practical than having another Camaro as a daily driver.

Which rides nicer the chevelle or the impala?

I am determined to make my chevelle ride like crap.... I plan on buying some 650 lb/inch springs up front at minimum, compared to my t current 330 lb/inch it currently has

yeah! exactly the kind of car a 75 yr old man would crawl out of at Walmart. Just kidding! Nice ride I like the Impalas too. At least you didn't get a gold buick, now thats an old person car.

Yeah they do, thanks! I scored a great deal on them, wheels and tires for $150 from a guy off craigslist! The wheels are immaculate, the tires are fairly worn but will last about 6 more months at least. They look waaaaay better than the hubcaps!
