There were three things the Jimmy had that I really missed when I got the new Trailblazer - 1) Outside temperature 2) Compass and 3) Heated side mirrors
Well, I already had replaced the rear view mirror to one that has both 1 and 2, and today I took care of #3.
It's AMAZING how easy it is to take apart this car compared to the Camaro. Door panel comes off really easily, mirror comes out with no issues. And the most amazing part - the whole 5 bolts that I had to undo to get the door panel off (2 bolts) and the mirror (3 nuts)... they were all 10mm. I was shocked - I expected to have one bolt be a standard size, one bolt a metric, and at least 3 different sizes...
GM's made a lot of progress, just wish all the anti-Domestic vehicle people could see it.
Anyway - here's some pics

And a couple pics of dad's car while I was taking some shots...

Damn straight! No, it's honestly just because of parking order - if I'm not driving the Camaro, then it makes no sense to leave it parked infront of the Firebird and blocking his access out of the garage.
