  • Last Friday's Track Time

I went to Milan Dragway last Friday for some test and tune. Too bad every run went up in smoke due to the cold track. Even used the traction control and still spun the tires. Gotta love the power the LS1 makes and mine is stock. The car only ran a best of 13.32 at 106 mph. Not too bad for a stock automatic convertible. My 60' times really were off and had they improved, maybe the car would have ran a 12.9 or 13.0 pass. This picture was from the track photographer and before I made my first pass because both rear 1/4s were covered in rubber.

Bone stock car? I thought the ls1s were closer to 13.6? Regardless, great times for the crappy weather. They have a photographer? That pretty cool, my buddies are always trying to get that shot for me but weve never had any luck.

They have had bone stock 6 speed cars into the 12 and auto cars damn close. His times seem right on par to me

I hear ya on the crappy cold track. My dad took my TA to the track and only managed a 13.1 due to zero traction. Hoping for mid 12's next year with stickier tires and a few more mods, boltons only.

both cars were there saturday, the puny v6 needs its bottle to keep up. It ran a 14.5 with no nitrous, hopefully next summer we can line them up .
