  • Custom LED Interior

I know its not an Fbody, but this is what i have been working on the last few weeks... Copied from a differet forum, all posts into one.

10/04: I got my Blue LED's i ordered 4 weeks ago. So started off today with the easy pieces, out with the red, in with blue. Everything will be blue by the time im done, i got pretty far today, Heres my progress.

DIC (was done a little while ago by ScottyB)
    Foglight Switch
    Headlight/Running light switch
    HUD Switch
    Steering Wheel Controlls
    Lock Button drivers side.

    10/06:
Finally finished all the hard stuff besides the cluster.

I two tones the Heated Seat switch with red and blue, so that when its on, its red on the setting its on. Heres some pics, also took some pics of the HVAC appart if anyone was wondering what they looked like on the inside, was giong to do LED's in that, but when i took it appart and seen how difficult it would be to do i decided not to. Also a few pics of exacly how i wired them.

    And the finished product...

    10/10:
More blue...Custom cluster is on its way.

And a look through 20% tinted front windows to show how bright it is with the windows up...

    10/14:
I got part of my cluster in, im still waiting on an overlay other than that, its finished. heres finished pics! Some pics taken with domelight on, some without.

That is all for now, still working on it, have a few things yet to do. Once i get my overlays for the gauges ill add more pics and some daytime pics. I like it alot, alot better the red IMO.

    All comment appreciated.

I want to do something like that to mine but in red to match the car and create a cockpit look but does it take away the dimming effect? I am definitely changing my map lights to red just have to find where to get the lights

If they are festoon bulbs like what grand prixs have, you can get them from the same place i do. or even ebay. but I get all of my LED's from www.superbrightleds.com , they are pretty good prices there, and carry every bulb i needed.

They are festoons. I did that about a year ago to mine. I took out the old lights and replaced them so that the dome lighting was much better.
