Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Here are the pics of the 87. This is the rust bucket I'm parting out, so if there are any little doodads, knick knacks, doors, quarters, etc you need, LMK! All parts, in the interst of paying it forward, will be FREE.
Of course, alot of them are being reserved for yours truly, but there will be ALOT of parts left over.
as you can see from the last two pics, there was no saving this puppy.
And here are the pics of the free 85 that came with it! This one will need the radiator and headlight support structure cut out and replaced, using donated parts from the 87. But the underbody on this car is SPOTLESS. No rust to be found anywhere. Solid wheel wells, runs like a champ. Needs the thermostat replaced, and the idle sticks every now and then. Other than that, slap a hood and some headlights in her and shes ready to go. I should have it at the picnic this weekend, in fact!
Unfortunately, the pics of the twisted support didnt come out, I'll have to throw them up later. I will be replacing the nose and front fenders with ones from the 87, so these parts will also be up for grabs, also free!

Fair enough. I will cross post this info to the other thread as well.
I only plan on keeping the dash pad, dash panel, wheels, engine, and transmission. Both the engine and transmission will be swapped into my 86, meaning the 86's engine and transmission will be available. Both engines are 305's. The white doghouse off of the 85 will also be available, I will be switching the 87's onto it.
FOR ANY OTHER RESPONSES OR REQUESTS< PLEASE USE THE "FREE T/A PARTS" THREAD IN PARTS FOR SALE!

Yeah those rubber ones dont seem to hold up very well in this climate. Mine was so bad it was hanging off the car. I literally lifted it off the tailgate it was so far gone. At least the decklid was not effected.
I'm still trying to get this car back together from the previous owner. I stopped by his house to see if he had any other parts for me and he said he threw everything out including a set of t-tops and my center console So that Center Console and Radio bezel as well as the radio cage you sold me I should have everything I need besides a carpet, headliner, and some new floorpans. That is if I even put in a carpet or headliner (They are just spare weight right Besides that my car is coming together nicely.
BTW I got that door installed and it fits like a glove. It took a little bit of adjustment to get it to shut just right and it took me a while to figure out why the door has 4 same color blue wires but I got it done. I'll post pics of the door installed soon. Hopefully I can get the bumper cover put on before then too.
