  • My 86 Trans Am, and the Wife's 85

Here are some better pics of my wife's (STOLEN) 85 T/A, and my new 86. We bought the 85 for $800 with a smashed front, rebuilt it using parts from another 86. The engine is a 355, not sure from what. Runs good, now, after a weekend of hard work by some fellow F-body types. Thanks again, Tom and Nick. (Itsslow and Rockandyz) It still needs to have the hood pins and vents installed, and the side vents put in. That and some interior work. Its probably going to end up white.

The 86 we bought just last weekend, it was a Craigslist find from Ortonville. Guy I bought it from purchased it as a GTA, but it just seems to have some of the parts. Vented quarters and a drum rear end make it really, really doubtful.

It does have a 140mph speedo, some nice GTA rims, and a solid TPI setup. Running a little rough right now, but the Flowmaster exhaust makes her sound MEAN. Hoping to smooth it out this weekend, get her ready for the fall meet.
This one will probably end up charcoal gray.

And here are the pics of the 86.

If you add in all the parts I've bought, and subtract income from selling the other leftover parts, I've spent a grand total of $900 for both cars! Not too shabby.

(Special thanks to all those who bought parts from me~!)
