Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
Go to the actual video on youtube for a full list of mods Nate.
Thanks, now I get it.
"race 1: shelby 2008, JLT INTAKE/SCT TUNER/PULLEY PACKAGE jba long headers ,jba hi flow cats , ford racing catback VS camaro 2010 , semi sliks , full exhaust system, magnacharger"
Makes sense, the Camaro's motor is light years ahead and it has more displacement, assuming its the 5.4(cobra) and not the 4.6(Gt and other Shelby cars)
First off, that GT500 wasnt being reved all the way out.
Second, how do we know that is a GT500? That could be (and I bet it is) a Mustang GT with a blower on top.
Motor Trend did the same thing with the 2010 GT500 and had different results. Dont forget that mustangs dont get new motors until next year.
Are there more videos of this? That 5th gen modded?
Nice video but if you notice the GT500 is $17k more than the SS and only goes .1 seconds faster in the quarter mile. Taking around $2K of the $17K I saved on a better looking car I'll throw on a better intake filter, ARH Headers, and a tune and beat him by a couple tenths.

In no way was I comparing money for the two. Wanted to make sure it was a 5.4 not a 4.6. Did you miss my last line?
Unless he pulled the aluminum Shelby Hood with the air extractor vents, and removed the leather dashboard, that's not a GT500. Since there's not a pop-riveted (yuk!) hoodscoop, it's not even a Shelby GT.
That's a 4.6 GT with a supercharger.
The camera man is in the Mustang - wonder where he got his info on the car
