Looks like a great time! Angie and I will have to do this sometime - I'm sure she'd get a kick out of doing TA Nats after going to Camaro Superfest so many times. I wouldn't mind going and seeing some nice 1st gen birds - I hardly ever see any clean 1st gen birds compared to how many clean 1st gen Camaros I see.- Brian Meissen

Yeah B, it very well could.
It's always the last weekend in August, but wasn't the Metro Cruise moved around this year because of the month started on a Saturday?? Not sure, just know that there was some reason the Metro Cruise was held two weeks after WDC instead of the following week.

WDC is always the 3rd Saturday in August, the Metro Cruise/Berger Show is the weekend before the Labor Day Holiday. That's why there were two weeks between them this year.Originally posted by 92conv View PostYeah B, it very well could.

Thanks for the clarification, Doug!! I knew I heard some reason for it.
And do mean to tellme, 312 pictures of TA's wasn't enough for ya......I knew deep down inside you had a soft spot for TA's.

OH! I missed the link at the bottom of your post. I'll look at them next.
I nearly bought a white w/blue stripe '70 Trans Am with a built 455 just days before I bought my '74 Z28 (back in 1974). I actually looked at 3 or 4 other ones, too.
Who knows, there may not even be a WMCC today if I had gone with the Firebird back then? I'm the only original member still around. You never know what small thing will end up being a significant moment in your life. 35 years later, I still have the '74 Z28 and the WMCC is 34 years old and still going strong.

OK, nice pics, Scott. Looked like a great show. Loved the Fire Am, not too many of those still around. Of course, I always like the white and blue ones, from every Generation.
I know a lot of people around here complain about mark specific shows (like Superfest or Berger) but I like them because it seems that's where you see the very best of a specific brand or model. There's plenty of open shows around for everyone. I don't have any problems with there being a T/A Nationals. In fact, I'm glad there is one.RIP Doug,You will always be remembered
