It doesn't have either right now - but it's not a daily driver either. You can still keep air and heat - there's little slits in the bezel so ventilation still comes out.Originally posted by jderry View PostYour car dosnt have heat or air does it?
can you get one of thos nice gauge holders from the site sponser but keep air and heat?- Brian Meissen

Quite honestly, for what you get in the triple pod a-pillar package - I think it's totally worth it. The research I did before placing the order pointed to glowshift being comparable in quality and accuracy as autometer gauges. The button to change the colors is really touchy - when you push it in, it doesn't pop back out... no spring mechanism. I ended up using needle nose pliers to pull the button away so it wouldn't change colors but after I set the color I wanted and pulled the button away, it's stayed the color I wanted and it's been great. I absolutely love them at night - not too bright... just right. During the day you don't see the red light that much but it's still very readable.Originally posted by sman View PostLookin good B! I see you went with the glowsifts. Thoughts? Opinions? Does the pilliar fit good? Where/how did you mount the trans sender and fuel pressure sender?
Trans sender went into the pressure port that has a plug in it - Ridings specifically pointed the port out to me when I picked up the trans from him and mentioned wanting to get a trans temp. From what I understand, that's actually the "hottest" point for measuring liquid - people who have switched from the pressure port to tapping into the pan stated they noticed the pan reads about 10-15 degrees cooler. I'd rather it be reading a little higher than it is and not have to tap into the pan. Fuel pressure sender was tapped into the schraeder valve in the fuel rail. Popped the cover off the valve, used a valve stem remover to take the valve stem out, then slapped a -4an female to 1/8th NPT female adapter into the schraeder valve (which is -4an male), then a 90 degree angle 1/8th male to 1/8th female, then to the fuel pressure sender.
Thanks for all the compliments guys - I really do appreciate it. I miss the carbon fiber - back when it was new it looked a lot better but with age it turned more yellow and got cracked and crappy looking. Ah well, always taking different strategies with the car - right now it's to keep the interior a little more clean and simple (while still having the functionality of the gauges and carPC).- Brian Meissen
