  • Oak Ridge car show 7-18-09 Attica, Ohio

1st time ever entering a car in this show. Been to the festival before and it's one of the nicest around. The theme is back in the early settlers time. They have a lot of things going on with real cannons being fired, old farm machinery shows, arts/crafts, and tons of food. There were about 140 cars at this show which suprised me a lot. They had sponsers who picked their "best" then had a ballot for spectors to vote on their favorites. To my amazement I was in the top 10!!! Won a $25 gas card. 1st award for me owning the car. Felt bad because there were many other rare cars in fine show status that I felt was better than mine. Heard a lot of "ohh a Bandit car" so I'm sure that helped procure a lot of the votes. There were many Pontiacs at this show and even another 2nd gen!!! Enough typing, here's the pics
Mores pics of my ride of course I ended up working on the paint the best I could do and it actually looks a lot better than it ever has. I had a buddy remove some of the door dings too so that helps a lot.

I've always like these little AMC cars

    Even a 3rd gen

This Ford looked like it'd be a great cruiser. Looks very stock but it had a lot of updates but done very clean

Don't see to many of these Malibus in a ragtop

Awesome! You know what would look even better with your car, though? Not having a "For Sale" sign in the window and putting a "I'm keeping it!" sign in there instead. Congrats on the win!

Yeah that AMX was real clean. Back when I was little there was a local business man that had an orange with black rally stripes and l loved it. If the interiors were just a little better looking I probably would have tried to find one a long time ago.

Yeah it looked real clean. Not sure who owns it because this was the first time I had seen it. My friend has an anniversary one that although is very solid with no rust it does need a little work.

Is it a 15th Anniversary (1984)??? Does he want to sell it? If so, I may be interested.

Yes it is. I know it has been repainted at one time. Not sure if it still has the original drivetrain or not. I do know it still has the recaro seats and the rest of the interior. Call him @ 419-562-0625 during the day and ask for Ted. He owns an auto repair shop. He doesn't officially have it for sale but I know with him, with the right price anything is for sale.

Nice 67 Firebird, don't see very many. Seeing as how they only made it for half a year and all probably has something to do with it. Haha
