  • New Epic...

Took these this morning after a good wash and wax (gota love Meguires)

Up at Rose Hills was nice, no traffic, and very quiet (espesially since dead people don't talk )

Looks great, Grant! I like what you've done with it so far. Do you still have that picture where you climbed up the ladder onto the roof of your house to get the overhead shot? I loved that picture. For those that haven't noticed, if you look at the windshield in the 4th picture you can see that Grant actually continued the stripes straight through the windshield onto his dash. It's an awesome effect from overhead when you see the stripes travel literally through the car.

Constructive criticism? Side vents look really out of place. They really grab my attention, and thats all that I can see when I look at the side of the car. Would look much better without them. And the reverse lights on the rear of the car do the same thing. Maybe tuck them up a little further? Looks like you have put tons of money and work into the car though, congrats.

The side vents, I get alot of mixed reviews on those. I like them, but honestly I think they'll look a lot better once I get around to haveing my body shop smooth them into the fender. Just time and money for that. But I appreciate you're honesty. The reverse lights I want to lightly nightshade out at some point. I wouldnt even have them if cops weren't so god-damn picky these days. My tail-lights are all red, no reverse lights at all so when they pulled me for them I have to think of a quick fix. I was trying to make it look like the C6 vettes do.

Crap, I totally forgot about that. My painter maked off to the edge of the hood when the stripes were done and I didn't notice till way after the fact. the one side is fixed using some black vinyl but the other side peeled up on on edge and i ripped it off, have yet to fix it back. It's been almost a year (one of those "I'll get around to it" things). Totaly forgot till right now.

                      definitely a cool car man!

my only griefs are the vents, they are kinda cheesy but i think they will look good when molded in. also the reverse lights. idk whats wrong but they dont look straight or something. and have you thought about a vinyl sticker for "cowl induction", im not really diggin the badges.

overall its pretty cool and i didnt notice the stripes on the dash until brian pointed them out. nice touch!

Looks great except the reverse lights under the bumper. Kinda surprised about the school sticker on your spoiler as well.

I like the overall theme of the car but its 1000X overdone IMO. The side stripes have to go and seem unecessary with the stripes on top, the side vents are not appealing, and those reverse lamps just plain have to go. Why couldn't you use the LT1 style lamps and nightshade the reverse lamp to it blends with the berger?
