Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

pulled the engine about 2 or 3 years ago took it all apart... the guy i had teach me taught me a lot about engines etc... and builds all of his race engines for his camaros he races at waterford hills( john blanchard aka engines by JB) al together he only charged me little under one thousand dollars which included
boring
cleaning
tuning
polishing
porting
bead blasted
also gave me a lot of parts for free which i know were not cheap gave me a forged pistons. pretty much everything i needed to upgrade it from being a 355 to a 383 which i am very grateful for. i know they were not cheap
the guy probly has about atleast 10 engine blocks sittin in his garage waitin for someone to buy or work on.
started out when i took it to him i just wanted him to help m einstall the cew cam kit. and the car would be ready for woodward... instead he talked me into breakin the engine down and going all out with it. so i went down there to work on it a few times a week for about 5 hours a time... so about 4 months ago it was fullly assembled and completed and we put it on the dyno .......ran beautiful until oil started coming out from inbetween the block and one of the heads.....he knew immediately what the problem was got the head of and had it back up in running about 2 days later the next time i could came dwon there. so after having it tuned and dynoed (pulled over 485 hp and a little over 500 ft lbs of tq) i have the sheet somewhere with the exact numbers but overall for spending what i did, i am very pleased ....only thing left i have to do is put the header gaskets on and water pump and just drop it in and its done
I have uploaded a picture i call got v8?
here is the link
