I used to take Dequindre all the time on the way to work with the bike. I know it takes being AWAKE to do it! That's about a mile from my turn to get to work. Many a time, at just that intersection, I've watched someone on their cell or whatever, not noticing the light had turned red and they just don't see my 3 brake lights. Surprisingly enough though, even though I'll take off, rather than eating windshield, I haven't gotten stopped for going through the red on those occassions.
