Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

Kyle(my95z28) was headed to my house yesterday and seen a 5th gen...so naturally he had to pull a u-ie and chase it down. Ill let the pics do the talking. I had to take the quality down a bit, my internet is worthless lately.
Haha, so I'm just cruising down 69, headed to Nates house, 10 minutes late like normal. I ALWAYS watch the other side of the highway, just to see whats out there. First I saw a 2000 mustang, but as it was going by, I saw it was a v6, boooo. Then a couple minutes later I saw an 03-04 Mach 1, and being that I was seriously considering getting one of these, I REALLY wanted to give chase and see what was up, but I didn't want to be rediculoulsy late to Nates, so I just kept going. About a half mile away from Nates house, I see an orange car on the other side of the highway. It gets closer, and I'm like, no way, HOLY **** THATS A FIFTH GEN!!!!! I called Nate and said, Dude, I'm going to be a little late. Started to say something else and he said "GET OFF THE PHONE AND GET SOME PICS!! lol. Luckily there was one of those emergency vehicle turn arounds, I said screw it, hit that, popped out the turn around, and ran her up to 120 to catch him. Caught up, played back n forth for about a min, then he signaled to go into a rest stop. Stopped and talked to him for a minute, he works for GM. Said they had roughly 150 camaros out to people at GM for daily drivers right now. I absolutly freakin love the 5th gen. Looks 3.14159 times better in real person than in actual life.

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
Lol, the closest guy to the camera in the third pic was all over the car. He was asking how fast the other guy had it up to, he kinda looked at me, I said well, I was at about 120 and he was pulling away from me, hehe. More people than that showed up when the camaro's driver came back out, and he was getting kinda freaked out and took off, lol. There were probably 10 people around the car staring at it.

He pulled over so that I could check out the car, don't think he was freeked out. He said he has been driving it for about a month, and has numerous pictures of himself posted up on the internet. Apparently at GM they have a few guys that are active on the forums, and they all see every week who made the internet with pics of them in their camaros.
