  • First Drive 2010 SS Camaro (PICS!)

Well for the people who don't know im a valet in Bloomfield Hills, i was sitting outside waiting for the next car to come in, when i seen a Red SS pull up, i almost pissed myself a bit lol, i didn't like it much when i first seen them but that all changed when i drove this bad boy. The car is very well put together and has plenty of power to move it with the six speed trans. The pictures aren't the greatest because all i had was my camera phone, oh yeah it didn't have a M plate on it, so somebody must own it, here are the pics

Surprisingly they have some decent ground clearance in the front, the front of the car seems kinda long from the inside of the car

Chances are its still GM's vehicle. Vehicles driven for testing purposes have M-plates. Vehicles owned by GM but given to employees are given regular state plates. A buddies dad told me that when he showed up at home with a G8GT 6 months before they were released.

That is a GM test car, in the lower drivers side corner of the windshield will be a sticker that says... Something test vehicle.( forget the actual word, starts with a "C" though)
There are a bunch running around.

Might be, but might not be a CTF vehicle. There's a guy in Rochester Hills that has already received BOTH of his 5th gen Camaros - one a red V6, the other a red SS.

Figure they make about 150 a day means they have made 600 cars as of this morning, that means we should start seeing them about now.

Cant wait to see a V6 do a 1/4 mile

I take it back - I just went on Camaro5.com and viewed all threads he started - "Number 3 Captured Test Vehicle" so he doesn't really own it and he's had it since January. He has a 1LT and his wife has an SS. His username on Camaro5.com is "Number 3"
