  • Prepping for Detroit Autorama!

Well I was convinced to submit an application to the Detroit Autorama and was accepted. This meant I HAD to finish a bunch of things on the car. So I thought I would share some pics with everyone. I still have a few more things that I didn't have time to get to, but they will be done by the M&G.

I painted some underhood parts to clean it up when the hood is opened. Rocker covers, radiator brackets, the plastic piece in front of the hoodlatch. Those made me want to take it all apart and do a lot more. I installed my gauge pillar and gauges, stealthbox. They still need to be wired up and that will happen when I change the carpet to dark gray (by the M&G). I also have lowering springs to go on (by the M&G). I had SS4Matt detail the car and it looks GREAT! Thanks Matt!

Yes it will be trailered down. Move-in is on Wed afternoon for me. So we should have a nice dry day for that.

Not worried about Thurs-Sat. Just Wed & Sun.

Yeah I can't wait. But nervous about speed bumps & parking blocks. I already bottom out on the speed bumps and barely miss the parking blocks. Gonna have to really watch out then.

Moved the car in yesterday with the rest of the Motown guys I am parked with. It was weird to see in on a trailer since I drive it everywhere. But it looks pretty good under the lights. Nice & Shiny! I will be around all weekend. So stop by and say hello!

God, I really wish I was going this year but it doesn't look like that's happening.

                            Looks GREAT though!
