Lookin' good, Jr. I like the vent that was added to the inside of the scoop. I got to the end and had to go look at the first pic again to make sure that wasn't there in the first pic.

I' having them smooth out underneath the scoop. The hood is actually made up of 2 skins. the bottom is a mold that they use for all the 98-02 bolt on hoods (so all the hardware bolts on in the right spot) and the top skin is the fiberglass that is molded into whatever shape of the hood that is ordered...anyway where the scoop met the hole in the bottom skin there was a lip that i didn't like, so i had them fill it in. not to mention the fiberglass under the scoop was all rough so it needed to be smoothed out before paintOriginally posted by SoulTerror View PostShould look cool when done. What was with the body filler in the scoop?

Your car flow really well together. Did you just add that stripe in your signature, or has it always been there?

i just got home from the body shop....the underneath is completely done. the body work looks amazing as well as the paint. He (eric) was working on the body line and was going to start blocking out the rest of the hood today... I'm planning on going back in soon for paint...and to lay out the stripe that's going on...

Looks really good Alan! Very similar to what I want to do eventually with my car. I don't know why but I have never noticed that stripe in your sig pic before. Hell, I think that I have seen a couple pics of your car and never noticed the stripe, lol. I must be blind or something.Last edited by my95z28; February 24th, 2009, 12:11 PM.
