$39,000 is one thing...but $185,000 appraisal? Whether it's worth it or not...there are so many other cars I'd rather buy for that kind of cash than a 3rd gen f-body, even if it is a super-rare prototype.

Especially since he has Belleville in the address but listed his location in the auction as being Livonia.

Decode the VIN and it's a late 86 build, not a late 85 build.

Eh...it's still rare because ASC only did roughly 600 conversions in 5 (?) years or so, but it ain't $39K special because of the VIN snafu.

I'd say mid-teens would be fair if it's as nice as advertised...to the right person...
